Hitman: Absolution

The return of Agent 47. The Hitman series of games is a unique genre unto itself. A mix between stealth, third-person action, puzzles, and mini-sandbox game. Unlike other third person games it focuses on strategy and patience but doesn't restrict you to either. If you lack patience then going in ...

Warrior and MMA

The DVD for Warrior just came out today and I must admit I have been waiting to see this movie for a while. Skeptical (as usual) but excited. After all it's a movie with MMA as the background. All the great movies about a person excelling in their profession are ...

Different from the usual heroics, Chew is a comedy. It has an engaging plot, excellent characters, and the art fits perfectly with the theme. There are already four graphic novels out and once you finish reading the first you will immediately buy the rest. Yes its that good. Tony Chu is ...

LOL. I can't say that name with a straight face. Don't know why i remembered this but i am glad i did. A lot of people think that MMORPGs require no strategy. This is not true, specially in higher level instances. For those who are uninitiated Leeroy Jenkins became famous ...

Comic of the Month: Batman Noel

Lee Bermejo combines Charles Dickens with DC comics. Batman Noel's art is simply eye candy. What do you expect when the writer is himself a fantastic artist? The art, dialogue, pacing, and creative twists combine to create a comic fan's perfect Christmas story. I can really praise this graphic novel all day. A must read.

Help save the internet

(VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED)

I have to admit I was one of those that did not know about this bill. Mozilla,AOL, eBay, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, Yahoo!, and Zynga are all opposing the bill but EA, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, and Apple support it. The intentions of the Bill seem noble but some of the specifics are down right scary.

Here is some more info:

Article by GameSpot and the Bill itself. Or if you are lazy then...

True Grit: UFC 139

Last night Mauricio SHOGUN Rua displayed true grit. His fight with Dan Henderson was epic and will be etched forever in the annals of MMA. It was not a fight highlighted by beautiful striking, flawless BJJ, or picture-perfect wrestling. It was messy, long, and bloody. Punctuated by will and determination.  A display of why we love heart. A Rocky Balboa story. (spoilers ahead!) (more…)

Best Gaming Moments: Leeroy Jenkins!

LOL. I can't say that name with a straight face. Don't know why i remembered this but i am glad i did. A lot of people think that MMORPGs require no strategy. This is not true, specially in higher level instances. For those who are uninitiated Leeroy Jenkins became famous from a World Of Warcraft video in which... well let's just say he was AFK or... just watch! To set up the scene I have to explain that the battle is not easy and a lot of hard work goes into winning. Without further ado...

To top it all the line "at least I have chicken"! LOL. Guess he was AFK getting food or something.

Found this amazing definition of Leeroy Jenkins:

n.
1: One who does not grasp the concept of caution.
2: One whose success is based purely off relentless aggression and pure luck.
3: One who likes chicken.
4: One whose battle cry consists of their own name.

v.
1: To destroy all hopes of success.
2: To rush headlong into danger without regard to consequences.
3: To satisfy one's own desires at the expense of all around oneself.

This will be a new monthly series. Give your ideas of YOUR best gaming moments!

Comic of the Month: Batman and Robin

Grant Morrison continued his foray into the batman saga with this fantastic series. The first half of this graphic novel is superbly drawn by the legendary Frank Quietly. Bruce Wayne is presumed dead, his protege (former Robin) takes on the mantle of the dark knight alongside Bruce's ten year old son Damian. If you are a fan of comics in general then this is a must read, otherwise... Grant Morrison nuff' said.
